The Middlesex Hospital – The Names of the Wards and How they got to be that way

Posted on February 12, 2009May 27, 2020 By spr 3 Comments on The Middlesex Hospital – The Names of the Wards and How they got to be that way

As a former Middlesex Hospital (Mortimer Street, London W1) Registered Nurse (Holmes Sellors Cardiothoracic Surgery, HDU and then ITU and well as 75% of my training), I have been more than saddened by the destruction of the building and the slice of Fitzrovia history that it has taken with it.

Lou found this long out of print book and scanned it for your edification and education

Hi, I am very interested in this book of the names of the wards. It seems the link to the pdf is broken. Could you send me a pdf – or repair the link if possible? Many thanks indeed.

I worked at Middlesex Hospital in 1970s & would dearly love to read this book. But I cannot read on website or download pdf. The Black bannerhead is in way to see what happens & bonus book advert. I can glimpse small sections but not enough to read. Can you please send pdf file or make link work on website. Thank you so much.
