This item was given to me by an elderly priest who had been ordained on D-Day – 6th June 1944 and was celebrating his 60th anniversary of ordination. It’s a lovely small set and perfect for home communions or intimate celebrations. I’ve loved having it, but now I no longer have room and it’s time for another priest to take it on and continue it’s work in sharing the sacrament.
It is hallmarked Sterling Silver and the markings appear to me to be London, 1875
